Dear friends,

AS I HAVE BEEN DISCUSSING, Creation is an eternal “A-ha!” A forever discovering of That which is New, because Mind is forever bringing it forth from Its everlasting Infiniteness. This means that for each of us, we are in the position of forever discovering the ever present divinity of our Brothers and Sisters and awakening Love for them which was never given to them before.

In other words, as each one of us is made new, we are the presentation of new invitations and justifications for someone to “fall in love” with us all over again — that is, if they aren’t bringing forward yesterday’s fresh discovery of loveliness and withdrawIng their attention from what God is being now, now, now . . . now . . . now . . . right where we are.

Of course, the same thing is true in reverse. Caught in a past-generated present — caught in yesterday’s perceptions — we miss Creation, and do not fulfill our Function as co-creators with God, because we can’t acknowledge Him in what we’re not giving our attention to.

Another description of the Fall.

The very idea of experiencing each other without precedent — not just daily, but moment by moment — can seem overwhelming to one who has become stodgy and seeks the stability of the unchanging. But such is not normal, for we are talking about the “delight” of existing, not the effort of constant adjustment.

Waking up is the return to innocence, where justifications to resist life have not been formed; where, like a child, the experience of being conscious doesn’t require “adjustments,” but simple acceptance, causing everything to be a delightful, effortless discovery.

Relationships with everyone and everything are meant to be discover-full. But this obviously means that one must not only be willing to see his Brothers or Sisters without casting yesterday’s perceptions on them, he must be willing to see himself without enforcing yesterday’s definitions on today’s unprecedented presence that he is. You see?

Too hard? Look again at the child in the crib or swing set, looking with fully absorbed curiosity and glee at everything. Not hard! But, then, he or she is not making the choices which are being made by those who have “matured” and “grown up,” and arrived at a place where “ease” and “comfort” outweigh the delightful and life-giving characteristics which involvement with everything provides. Isn’t there, though, a point where one becomes an “adult” and can finish “learning,” and enjoy the fruits, the benefits of . . . what is it called? Retirement?

Isn’t that the goal?

While you’re on your way to reaching your definition of being “grown up” and finding relief from “adjustment” to the unexpected, ask yourself . . . consider . . . why would you want to be free of the one thing that signifies, embodies, and is the Presence of LIFE? And when you realize that you wouldn’t, get off the well-worn path that leads only to the absence of LIFE, and engage, moment by moment, with things, and people, and music, and sunsets, and squirrels chattering, with the conscious desire to see the more that God is being there than you saw yesterday or a moment ago.

The moment you stop doing that, you withdraw your attention from God, deciding to determine for yourself what you will embrace and the meaning it will have . . . and the Fall happens all over again . . . as constantly refreshed as Reality is, but substituting for it. You see?

There is a method to everything I do. I am, after all, the Wayshower. As are you when you don’t have private agendas of your own. And I am sharing these things today because everyone wants the Atonement without truly understanding what it is. Or shall I say “without expecting to have to consciously change, because the Atonement is something that happens TO you.” No, Atonement is what you experience when you abandon doing what has covered the Kingdom of Heaven and your divinity and kept them from your eyes.

When I say there is a method to what I do, I mean that this is a letter of invitation of support which some may interpret as having been disguised by a teaching. But the fact is that the way this work works — the fact that everything we do is on the basis of Gift — is the teaching actualized!

You see, the way I have “actualized” it is that it requires everyone to pay attention! It requires everyone to get practice at being conscious enough of one’s Brothers and Sisters who are on the path of Awakening that one engages, one becomes involved — “falls in love with them all over again” and provides them with the opportunity to fall in love again is well.

No, you’re right! This isn’t the way websites work. It’s not just a browsery for everyone. It’s meant to cause everyone to care, and to act on that caring, by awakening the relationships which everyone is already in and promoting actual outreach, actual acts of kindness — random or otherwise. Why? Because that is the life-giving characteristic of a mind which is not shutting down.

The 19th of the month is three days away, and because support has been less than usual, more of the normal operating expenses had to be covered, bringing the amount needed this month to $7,800. In addition, the first two paychecks to Paul for January have had to be withheld, so far. And the balance in the Foundation’s bank account is $213.09.

Everyone needs everyone’s support — the Foundation’s activities, Paul, and everyone around the globe who already has found us, and those who are yet to come.
