Dear friends,
AS WE APPROACH THE FIRST DAY of the New Year, there are two significant needs waiting to be met to cover the end of this year. First and foremost is an unpaid property tax in the amount of $5,248.37, which was due on October 31st, and which the Foundation has been unable to pay due to lack of funds. As a result, two month’s worth of interest and penalty have been added in the amount of $473.27, bringing it to the amount stated above . . . and it will increase again if not paid by December 31st.
The second need is for payment of the last three paychecks to Paul, which could not be paid to him this month in order to cover other expenses which kept the Foundation functioning. They amount to a total of $2,610, and although there are still other smaller basic expenses also waiting, these two are the most imperative and are the reason for this invitation.
All in all, everyone‘s support during December has covered larger than normal Foundation expenses at a time of year when the holidays and their celebration have increased the normal expenses for everyone and their families. And although the needs of the Foundation have been gradually and surely met, it has not been without the awareness of the extended care which everyone has been graciously providing.
