I was following the thread... just reading along as a bystander...watching to see where it would end up (usually a stalemate).... and the sentence above made me stop.
There's something in it that 'made a sudden move as if to say "see me"' and I stopped....read the sentence again. "is ever justified".... "justified".... there is that little grain of dirt. Justify, what is it about the word/meaning? hmmmmm
Justify: to show to be just, right, or in accord with reason; vindicate
Nothing can be done unless it is justified. Isn't that an officious word. I say it...let it roll off my tongue and I can feel my body take an arrogant posture and my nose turns up just a bit. Try it...say the word Justify a few times and be aware of what you feel...how your body feels. I find it interesting.
