The copy paste doesn't seem to work.  I want to copy something I have in a word doc and paste in here. It won't do it.

I was able to copy and paste within the threads (I think) but not from outside of the site.

This is a bummer.

Hi there,

If I type a word document and then use the right click to copy that part works fine.  When I bring that here, the right click doesn't work.....so I can't paste.

Maybe the keyboard command would work, but I can never remember what that is.

Also, is there a spell check?  That is why I like to type in Word and copy/paste.

I just 'pasted' something in a reply message and noticed that the action seemed to hang up a few moments before the data was displayed. I thought of your situation here and wondered if you had waited long enough for the data to appear.

Also, I use the copy/paste function of the Windows tool bar rather than the right/click mouse. Can you test the Windows paste function to see if it reacts the same?

There's always that very very simple explanation that happens to everyone. I'm almost ashamed to mention it, but..... you're sure you clicked on the "copy" option (with the data highlighted), right? I can't tell you how many times I would click on the 'edit' function in the tool bar and forget to click on "copy". I would panic until finally going back and try to do it again.

Duh, in rich edit there are buttons.  I can right click something in Word and then button it in here.

Imagine that!  They were right in front of me!
