Random quote: "A person conceives of himself as separate largley because he perceives OF himself as bounded by a body. ONLY if he perceives himself as a MIND can this be overcome." Jesus CIM

Thanks for the thought provoking ideas, everyone. It is interesting that even within the confines of this "physical" universe, according to modern physics based on relativity, if one were to enter a space craft that could withstand the pressures of an almost infinite acceleration...that is to enter the realm of a black hole where the gravitational pull was sufficient enough to accelerate the craft to just shy of the speed of light, the ones within the craft would be suspended in "time" relative to observers on the outside. Time would not exist for them (the ones in the craft). They would witness all events on the outside rush by somewhat instantaneously....even to the point where our sun used up all its fuel and expanded to incinerate our little planet (about 4-6 billion years from now...unless, of course, we change our direction and listen to the awakened ones). One could conclude that "time" is not only relative but a function of perception or 'made up'.

Additionally, light traveling past a mass great enough to "bend" it has been shown mathematically to be an "illusion" in the sense that the light was not bent, space was curved/warped by gravity so that the light only appeared to bend. Space, too, in theory, can be shown to be a function of perception in a sense.

Raj, and other enlightened Ones, keep telling us we are not bodies in a material sense but can be visibly identified as sort of 'light bodies', and we will ultimately find ourselves to be Consciousness Itself. Since all we are "confronted with is Reality", I wonder if.....ahhh enough lugubrious mind adventures for now, I'll just keep wondering.

Hoping this day is the day we awaken,

Tom....(thanking Doug, too, for that real cool word and laughing because it may be awhile before this post gets low enough to disappear for ya.... LOL)
