Subject: help on the board

Could someone enlighten me on the use of posting on the board. I wanted to answer robbieh on a question she asked in thread, "Is this another way to participate" and wanted to answer publicly not privately. I see that the answer has appeared some posts down from the one with the question she posed.

Rissey mentioned using (nmi) to indicate the reply contained other messages? but I think I am getting it wrong. Also when a thread gets very long, but is obviously still active, is there a way, (or a need even) to move it to the top of the page again?

so Q1., how do I place an answer so that it shows as linked to the post of the question?

Q2 what is the purpose and use of (nmi) correctly

Q3 Do we need to move active threads occassionally

scratching my heada here. Ps I use "threaded" to veiw the list of posts, doeas that make any difference to the above questions?

Thanks guys

Douglas
