Sometimes that might mean killing madmen who endanger other's lives. Sometimes that might mean having the right words to say that will change someone's heart so that their life can also be saved.
Raj talked about a policeman who had to shoot to death a mad man. It was his MOTIVE that was the crucial thing. If he shot the man to save other's lives as well as his own, he would have acted with integrity. If the police officer was a racist and the madman was non-white and the officer took this opportunity to justify killing someone he didn't like, this would be a crime and should be addressed. |
