Location: Bellingham, WA | Shaking my head here. Here is a scenario on a smaller scale. Please tell me what you would do:
You and your child/spouse are held captive by a desperate man trying to evade the police. Lets say he is a murderer facing the death penalty who escaped from prison by killing 2 guards (who leave behind wives and 2 small children each). The police surround your house and try hard to negotiate with this man. He will not negotiate with anyone because he is ranting and raving and pointing guns to your heads. A sharp-shooter is called in. By your logic, a bullet to the head is a bullet to the head whether it is your head, your child/spouse's head or the madman's head.
What do you want the sharp shooter to do? Pray for peace and love and allow you to die or take the madman out?
