Hi Dianne.

The way Eckhart Tolle describes the difference between animals and humans is that animals operate under the level of conscious thought whereas man is caught IN conscious thought. The goal for man (in order to know peace and awaken) is to rise above the level of conscious thought...not to be caught in and identified with continuous thought patterns. And because *above thought* looks like *beneath thought* (where animals are) we have a lot to learn from animals.
