Thanks for your response, Fran.  I get the  gist of your intention and I appreciate it and hold it close... but I can't, don't want to giggle about this.

You know what I want?  Remember that Raj gave an example of the tidal wave coming....  oh, oh, it's going to get me.... oh, it was just a picture, haha.

Perhaps the essense of what you say is absolutely true and the thought of it being so has really registered.  It is not a polite, 'perhaps'.

But there is something quite sneaky here (and I have no bones about where it is). 

Is it not possible to say, in the same breath, that oh, look, they are abusing xx... oh, ha.... it is just a picture?  Oh look, they are at war,  nah.. it is just ego stuff...  I'm not getting it yet.

Any contributions to the further clarity of this are very welcome.
