Hi Sandra.

Truth is that which is True in contrast to that which is false. Who says what's true and what's false? It's self-evident as a matter of principle.

For example 2+2=4 is a mathematical principle that is self-evidently true, in contrast to 2+2=5 which is false. Mathematics is the science of mathematical principles. Ontology is the science of Being and, like math, has its own ontological principles which are self-evidently true.

An example of an ontological principle which is self-evidently true is the fact that Truth is all there is and all there possibly can be because anything other than Truth, in order for it to actually be other than Truth, would of necessity have to be not Truth, or not so, or not existent.

I cover all ontological Truth in my 79 page book at http://hometown.aol.com/b7gilberti/myhomepage/writing.html

The nice thing about ontological principle is that it's not something you believe or have faith in but something you understand, in the same way that it would be ridiculous to have faith that 2+2=4 because you can understand it to be true in itself.

With Much Love,
