| Hi beautiful people In living the course, I find a mix between giving in the best way I can, and understanding the finer points of my own convoluted brain, to be somewhat at odds. There are somedays when I could use the ability of live connection with others who listen to Raj, to help in unraveling these blocks. I agree totally with the theme of Raj's talk this week, it is in the getting out and doing, rather than the being well read and thinking, we are rightminded, in isolation; that is the way forward for the world as we see it. However right now, I have some seemingly impossible questions in regard to what is "alive" popping up in my head, and things like, "if God is a thought, and I am an idea of that thought, and the world does not exist, (read universe as well) then what is the construct of the thought? And therefore my feeling of "alive" is what? Nothing? (Told you I am convoluted) Lesson 132 of the blue book, seems to say that to me. W-132.13. There is no world because it is a thought apart from God, and made to separate the Father and the Son, and break away a part of God Himself and thus destroy His Wholeness. 2 Can a world which comes from this idea be real? 3 Can it be anywhere? 4 Deny illusions, but accept the truth. 5 Deny you are a shadow briefly laid upon a dying world. 6 Release your mind, and you will look upon a world released. Now in this weeks broadcast Raj, appeared to be saying, in response to the question of what to do about the looming war issues, to get out and make ourselves heard, to cast our 'vote' and not to sit on the fence. This seems to be saying that the world I see, IS real? I know whilst I believe the dream exists, I will experience a humanness, and believe I am something I am not, yet how else can I believe this if I am to then give credence to the fear that is the ego basis of the political world at present? Surely by taking a stand, I give the thought of the reality of war, fear, attack, defence, self, seperatness, guilt, etc, value and reality?? any views anyone? Douglas |
