What I got from the last meeting was that it is one thing to talk and think about waking up and another to dare to be right in the thick of things. "Doing" might be as simple as looking directly into the eyes of one of those homeless guys standing on the corner begging -- and connect with a smile or hello. It has to be genuine though. It can't be a "magnificent gesture" on your part. It has to be real and from your soul.

You will know if you did it because it will shake you up a bit and the other guy will notice it too. Those moments are so powerful you will always remember them. You will not feel like a wonderful holy awakening being either. It is very humbling. It "levels" the playing field. In other words what happened was not a generous being in a car doing good to a hapless derelect on the street. What happens is two beings drop all the pretentions for a brief moment and connect. It is kind of like "stirring in your sleep". You are not awake but your level of sleep is becoming lighter. I think that is what Raj does with us every time we connect with him. Like water on a rock, it eventually washes away the garbage and beliefs we don't need.
