Dear friends, How well you let yourself feel your need for your fellow man, your partner, the members of your family and the stranger on the street determines how clearly the Kingdom of Heaven - which you are in the middle of - registers with you. Self-reliance and sovereignty have driven an imaginary wedge between infinite "parts" of That Which cannot be divided, and in so doing have caused you to lose the experience of Unity that can only be felt as the essentialness of everyoneandeverything . . . its essentialness to you! You need everyoneandeverything. Without everyoneandeverything you are not Whole. And everyoneandeverything is infinitely more than you are presently experiencing. You cannot be independent. You are not independent. You must feel your dependence, and you must feel it without resistance or loss of self-respect. It is in your unresisted need of everyoneandeverything that you find your Integrity illuminated - reintegrating what sovereign autonomy had disintegrated, reuniting everything in the design of God, and restoring you to Sanity. Need, felt, is not insulting, demeaning or destructive. It is wisdom! It promotes greater involvement and greater engagement in helping each other. It reveals the utter insanity of the idea put forward by "the valuing of independence" that those who do not need your help are the ones most worthy of it. And, it provides a new hindsight: that self-satisfaction, generated by not needing anyone or anything, was the most effective means of distancing yourselves from one another, from God, from your Sanity and from the direct experience of the Kingdom of Heaven right where you were.
