It has been said: “What you appreciate, appreciates!” In other words, it is increased by virtue of a simple principle that what you love is blessed by your attention and responds just like a plant toward the light.
True increase happens in no other way. It’s why you’re told to love the Lord, thy God, with all thy heart, and all thy soul, and all thy mind, and love thy neighbor as thyself.
Wherever you find love expressed, appreciate it well, for it is your appreciation which inspires and illumines, designates and leads the way . . . not TO a destination, but in paths of Wholeness Now, forever blossoming in gratitude to you!
Choice confronts the world every day, and at this present point in time the options are so black and white that it is easy to decide which one to make, and then to act upon that one essential step which ends all suffering. It is the choice between defense of self and the defenselessness of living Love.
I said that “it is easy to decide.” But let’s be clear. One cannot hem and haw . . . and wonder . . . or be hesitant . . . and actually make the choice. What I am saying is the Truth, but it means nothing if it isn’t given life in actions “in the world.” And that means actively expressed.
It is the actual appreciation found in one’s behavior which shifts the emphasis from “thought” to unequivocal commitment. And the Gift so given is a messenger which will return and magnify the Love which Which it was sent out. Without the light, there is no plant, no blossoming of gratitude returned, confirming that it has been blessed.
The Truth one studies and can now increasingly explore on You-Tube and the Internet represents a FOCUS one can use to trigger changes in behavior caused by sudden shifts in . . . what? The way one sees his brother and himself . . . and thereby finds appreciation to be something more than just an option . . .
. . . A NECESSITY!
And then behaves accordingly!
Together, we are shifting the behavior in the world, and therefore OF the world, by joining consciously in giving that which we would magnify. It’s no small thing.
