ANSWER: Yes, indeed. The dream of having and the expectation of being able to exercise “Specialness” — of being “different” — is losing definition (“structural integrity”) in the minds of many who have been finding such strangeness fascinating! You may know that such dreams are beginning to fade when there is an air of confusion you are sensing while you address your needs.
Paying attention to your Guidance is the only need you are ever faced with. But when you are invited to abandon that in favor of using your brothers’ or sisters’ confusion as your guide in order to relieve them of the distress of their unintelligent allegiance — and you agree — it amounts to “the blind securing the blindness.” You walk straight into the ditch as well, and as the “newly-blind” you keep the already-blind company until someone comes along who won’t abandon his Guide in favor of your distress.
This is what is going on. But no matter how strange all these dynamics feel to you, there is still an inevitable movement of Fulfillment called the healing of a nation, where no one is left behind to indulge in an imagined imagination. Isolation is not part of God’s plan of Salvation.
